Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and rough, with many rocks and potholes, making a regular car unsuitable.
CDW insurance (Collision Damage Waiver) is included as standard. This limits liability for damage to the rental car, but does not provide full coverage. With our 100% Coverage Package, all damage is covered, there’s $0 deductible, and no deposit is required.
